Prishtina becomes a Balkan hub for ENT, with around 400 doctors attending international congress
Around 400 doctors from the field of otorhinolaryngology are taking part in the 14th Balkan Congress of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (ENT and HNS), which is being held in Prishtina. The president of the Association of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons of Kosovo, Dukagjin Spanca, said the congress has brought together specialists from Balkan countries, Europe, and beyond, including participants from Asia. “It is a large gathering that brings together all otorhinolaryngology specialists from all Balkan countries and beyond. So far, we have around 90 speakers with presentations from 19 different Balkan and European countries, and we also have participants from distant countries as far as Asia. The quality of the lectures is quite high; we have top presenters from European countries, among the most well-known in their fields,” he said. According to him, this congress will contribute to strengthening professional capacities and the exchange of experience among specialists. ENT specialist Dukagjin Spanca stated that the number of participants is expected to reach around 400 over the three days of the congress. The 14th Balkan Congress of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (ENT and HNS) is being held in Prishtina from June 11 to 13. The congress is organized by the Association of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons of Kosovo in cooperation with local and international partners.
