KosovaPress has the privilege and honor of being part of a market with great potential for growth and development. The years we have left behind (founded on January 4, 1999) have been years of prosperity, innovation, and development for us and for other media outlets.
We consider these years as successful and fruitful, particularly in reference to the trusted collaborations and partnerships that have been steadily growing. This has been achieved thanks to the tireless work of our staff and partners, as well as our collaborators and clients who have placed their trust in us.
In 2016, we took a step forward, becoming pioneers in the country by introducing a new product – the ‘Live’ platform. This platform enables the live broadcasting of events from the field, with distribution across all social networks. In this way, we will continue adapting to the demands and needs of the market to maintain our leadership position.
With our clients, we deliver powerful visual and written content that informs clearly and accurately, educates, engages, and inspires freedom of speech and expression. This has positioned us as one of the largest agencies in the region. Since 2017, we are members of the Association of Balkan News Agencies – Southeast Europe (
ABNA-SE).
With partners including local, regional, and international media, foreign embassies in Kosovo, Albania, and North Macedonia, institutions, NGOs, and private companies, we have built trust through the quality of our video and audio recordings, as well as live broadcasts. Every day, we cover dozens of daily events, create topics and reports on issues impacting society, working 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Since September 2018, KosovaPress has also established a Production Department, which focuses specifically on producing television programs, advertisements, and similar videos.
In 2021, KosovaPress organized, for the first time in Kosova, the General Assembly of ABNA-SE, assuming its presidency for one year and serving on its board for the next three years.
In September 2022, we became members of the European Alliance of News Agencies (
EANA). With this, we have completed the cycle of global memberships, fulfilling Kosovo's international aspirations.
Throughout these years, we have advanced together, overcoming challenges and barriers encountered during our development.
Looking ahead, we expect to achieve even greater successes by following the latest media trends worldwide.
The year 2025 is expected to be a significant milestone for KosovaPress, as we plan to relocate to our new headquarters in the first quarter of the year.
This transition will provide opportunities for significant expansion of the company with new products and enhanced quality and quantity of news for the media, businesses, institutions, and NGOs, at local, regional, and global levels.
All of this is made possible thanks to your unwavering trust.
