The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship has published fuel prices for today.
According to the announcement, the price of diesel today is 1.49 euro per liter, the price of petrol is 1.39 euro per liter, while gas is 0.67 euro per liter.
The price of diesel has decreased by only 1 cent compared to Monday and Sunday, KosovaPress reports.
Meanwhile, oil prices fell on the international market on Monday, reaching their lowest levels in more than three months, after the United States and Iran announced they had reached an agreement that would end the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports and reopen the vital Strait of Hormuz.
As a result of the conflict that began on February 28 in the Middle East, fuel prices in Kosovo had reached up to 1.91 euro per liter.
The war began with U.S. and Israeli attacks across Iran on February 28, prompting Iran to strike Israel and U.S. allied states in the Persian Gulf — as well as effectively closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key global shipping route for oil and liquefied natural gas.
