Businesses from Kosovo, the region, and beyond gathered today at the “Agrokos & Expokos 2026” fair in Pristina to promote products and investments.

The fair showcased traditional food and clothing from Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to organizers, around 30 businesses from the region are participating in the event.

The acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, said on this occasion that their goal remains the transformation of the economy through business development.

“The organization of this format is also linked to the mission of the ministry I lead, because our goal remains transforming the economy through business development, turning innovation and entrepreneurship into the main engine of progress,” said Kusari-Lila.

The representative of the company “Agrokos,” Bekim Xhafa, said that fairs help new businesses enter the market.

“At the opening of the 26th International EXPOKOS Exhibition, which for 26 years has served startups after the war to enable their entry into the market, to help others grow within the market, and those with greater ambitions to access foreign markets and more distant regions,” said Xhafa.

Meanwhile, the president of the Chamber of Economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirsad Jašarspahić, said he has been a friend of this fair for the past 10 years.

The 26th edition of the fair opened with urban songs and traditional dances from Pogradec.

Fairs have become a tradition since the post-war period, helping new businesses penetrate the market.
