Sweden offers its support for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe

The Committee for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has meet with the Swedish ambassador to Kosovo, Jonas Westerlund, on Monday. Sweden's support to Kosovo in the European integration processes, especially in the membership of the Council of Europe, was confirmed in the meeting. Until it became known that the Swedish car company Volvo is expected to open its branch in Kosovo soon.

After the meeting with Ambassador Westerlund, the head of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Arbëreshë Hyseni-Kryeziu, in a press conference, said that Sweden, which leads the Council of the European Union, is also working on examining Kosovo's application for obtaining the status candidate country for EU membership.
