Kosovo's Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship has published the maximum fuel prices for today.

According to the announcement, the maximum price of diesel today is €1.44 per liter, while the price of gasoline is €1.37 per liter and that of gas is €0.61 per liter.

The price of diesel has increased by 1 cent compared to yesterday’s price of €1.43 per liter, KosovaPress reports. Meanwhile, on June 25, the price of diesel had dropped to €1.36 per liter.

As a result of the conflict that began on February 28 in the Middle East, fuel prices in Kosovo had risen to as high as €1.91 per liter.

The war began with U.S. and Israeli strikes across Iran on February 28, prompting Iran to attack Israel and U.S. allies in the Persian Gulf, while effectively closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key global route for oil and liquefied natural gas transportation.
