The Student Parliament of Haxhi Zeka University in Peja has called for a peaceful protest, which will be held on Friday.

According to the students’ announcement, the protest is being organized in response to recent hate speech, insults, and threats directed at the former KLA commander in Dukagjin, Ramush Haradinaj.

They emphasize that recent cases of distorting the history of the Republic of Kosovo and verbal attacks against figures of the liberation war are unacceptable and undermine collective memory and social dignity.

The students call on citizens, professors, and young people to join the peaceful protest to defend historical truth, oppose hate speech, and react against any attempt to distort Kosovo’s history.

The protest is expected to take place on April 10 in the center of Peja, at 12:00 PM, in the city square.
