The third and final night of the “Rock & Blues Music Festival” in Prizren brought back to the stage, after a long time, Kosovo rock legend Sejat Jakupi and the band “Telex.”

Jakupi, who is a soloist, guitarist, and composer, expressed emotion over the warm reception he received at the festival.

“This is fantasy for me, really. I am… I am… I am feeling very good. They have welcomed me so well here, they have taken such good care of me, and also of my band. It is fantasy, Prizren is fantasy. I really like it,” Jakupi said.

The artist especially praised the presence of young people at the concert, saying he was surprised they knew his songs, created decades ago.

Singer Dren Abazi also attended the third night of the “Prizren Rock & Blues Music Festival” specifically to watch Jakupi and “Telex.”

In a statement to KosovaPress, he expressed great admiration for the artist, calling him one of the best voices in Albanian music.

“I came today specifically to listen to Mr. Sejat Jakupi and Telex. I have always admired Sejati from a distance. We have exchanged messages a few times, but today I met him for the first time. He is extraordinary both as a person and as an artist. For me, he is undoubtedly the most beautiful Albanian voice. I am a singer myself, so artistically speaking, there is no one more beautiful than Sejati for me, and there never has been,” Abazi said.

Journalist Kushtrim Sadiku, who served as moderator for all three nights of the festival, said the event has now created its own identity and is becoming an important rock music point in the region.

Meanwhile, the 11-member band “Dhjetori” delivered a different interpretation on the third night of the “Prizren Rock & Blues Music Festival.”
