The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, during the meeting with the Albanian diaspora in Greece, said that the relations between the two countries are much closer than they appeared.

According to him, it is the "dust" from the politics of the two countries that does not allow the strong connection between the two peoples to be seen clearly.

He also said that the history between our two countries is closer than it seems while he emphasized that the paths of Albania and Greece are inevitably connected in the future.

Rama said that he demands from Greece mutual respect and mutual care of fellow nationals and good neighborly relations.

Rama also spoke about the problems faced by Albanians in Greece, where he said that the Greek community in Albania has never been denied any right by the Albanian authorities.

During the speech, Rama also focused on the vicissitudes and difficulties that the Albanians of Greece have gone through, saying that they have never given up.

Regarding the issue of properties, Rama said that this problem is a problem of Albania and it is not only a problem for the Greeks in Albania.

Rama chose to start the tour with the Albanian Diaspora anywhere in the world with Athens, where thousands of Albanians live.

The meeting started with the Albanian National Anthem and was followed by the performance of Era Rusi and Noizy.
