Osmani’s greeting: Kosovo and Albania walk side by side
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has congratulated citizens on the occasion of November 28 – Flag Day, Albania’s Independence Day, the birthday of the Legendary Commander Adem Jashari, and the first public appearance of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Osmani wrote on Facebook that these four events form “the axis of our national pride,” recalling the historical path of the Albanian people.
“Today, from Skanderbeg’s Kruja to Ismail Qemali’s Vlora and the Jashari family’s Prekaz, our history has been written with blood, courage, and faith,” the
President stated.
She added that Kosovo and Albania continue to walk side by side, describing them as “two states, one nation, two flags, one heart.”
President Osmani concluded her message by saying:
“Happy Flag Day! Happy Albania’s Independence Day! Glory to Commander Adem Jashari and to all the heroes, martyrs, and fallen of our nation!”
