The Basic Court in Mitrovica has ordered 30 days of detention for A.D. who is suspected of three criminal offences, 'attempted murder', 'unauthorized border crossing' and 'smuggling of goods'. According to the request of the prosecution, the suspect A.D, on Saturday in the village of Llazhine of the municipality of Leposaviq, endangered the lives of four police officers, ignoring the orders of the police to stop the truck at a checkpoint. The suspect, while fleeing with a truck in which there were mostly drinks smuggled from Serbia, hit the police vehicle twice, where as a result of the hits, the police officials received bodily injuries. After the police manage to stop the truck in question, the suspect tried to run away on foot towards the mountain, but without success because he was arrested by the police.
