The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has called on citizens to go out and vote in today’s elections.

With less than two hours remaining until the closing of the polling stations, LDK spokesperson Besian Mustafa emphasized the need for citizens to exercise their right to vote.

He stressed that, so far, the process is proceeding smoothly and is orderly.

“I take this opportunity, in the few remaining hours, to urge all citizens of Kosovo, all those who have the right to vote, to exercise this right and decide the fate of Kosovo for the next four years. From all the information we are receiving from the field, the process is going very well and is orderly in all municipalities and polling stations. Naturally, we call on everyone involved in monitoring and ensuring the smooth running of this electoral process to continue performing their duties regardless of differences,” he said.

According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), the number of voters who have cast their votes is 759,877 as of 17:24.
