The senior adviser of the American Department of State, Derek Chollet, after the conversation with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, said that the USA supports the meeting that affirms the commitment of Kosovo and Serbia to the proposal of the European Union.
"The US supports a constructive meeting that affirms the commitment of both sides to the EU proposal," Chollet wrote on Twitter.
Whereas, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, last night emphasized that he has confirmed to Chollet his position on the European proposal, as a good basis for further talks towards the normalization of relations."Chollet was informed by the Prime Minister that today in Kosovo, together with 12 Ukrainian journalists, we marked the first anniversary of the aggression by commemorating the victims but also the just liberation struggle of the Ukrainian people", it was announced in the communique.
The meeting between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will take place on Monday in Brussels.
