The candidate for Prime Minister from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, voted at the Faculty of Economics, accompanied by his spouse.

After voting, he urged citizens to exercise their right to vote, which, as he said, is essential for determining the composition of the next assembly.

“Having just voted here at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Prishtina in the capital, for the tenth legislature of Kosovo, today is both a beautiful and important day. I invite all citizens to exercise their right, to use this opportunity to determine the composition of the next Assembly. I hope, and we will work, that the tenth legislature will be constituted as soon as possible and simultaneously form the new government. I thank all citizens for their participation in the campaigns, for their patience, attention, and engagement, and I also hope that participation will be massive, because high turnout reflects not only the quality of the choice but also the legitimacy of the institutions,” he stated.

Kurti added that today there should be a clear result, emphasizing that “the chance for a coalition was lost through no fault of ours.”

Kosovo is voting today in 38 municipalities. These are early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo. Four electoral processes have been organized throughout the year.
