The technical workers of the Assembly of Kosovo protested on Tuesday in front of the parliament due to low salaries. "We worked like slaves, enough, because we can't make it", "We can't work for 275 euros when we have to travel and pay for food". These were some of the complaints of the technical workers of the Assembly, who are demanding that the salary be increased from 275 euros to 500 euros.

And for this low salary, the contracting company has been criticized, where according to the Independent Union of the Private Sector in Kosovo, the Assembly of Kosovo pays this private company 18,000 euros per month, of which 9,000 euros remain as profit for the company.

The Chairman of the Independent Trade Union of the Private Sector in Kosovo, Jusuf Azemi, emphasized that "the problem of low wages is with the company and not with the Parliament". Azemi has added that if this request for salary increase is not met then the workers are forced to stop their services.

Meanwhile, the representative of the technical workers, Nazife Krasniqi, has stated that for six years they have been paid 275 euros per month, while according to her, for these years, their salaries have only increased twice from 20 euros.

Likewise, a technical worker in the Assembly of Kosovo, Hanife Hyseni, has added that even the financial means for Pension Savings in the Trust, this company has not been paid.
