Kurti: Public health is being endangered by the PRB’s decision on insulins

In today's meeting, the Government of Kosovo has taken a number of decisions. The executive has proposed to the Assembly of Kosovo to dismiss the member of the Procurement Review Body (PRB), Kimete Gashi, because of the insulin tender. The government has also tightened sanctions against Russia and Belarus, in relation to the situation in Ukraine. Meanwhile, it has given the green light to the 28-million-dollar agreement with the German GIZ for the project of promoting entrepreneurship in rural agricultural areas.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that public health is being endangered by the decision of the Procurement Review Body, where the import of insulin is allowed without a marketing authorization, which guarantees their quality. Therefore, he said that it is necessary to take measures, first by dismissing the member of the PRB selection panel who made this decision...
