Kosovo's Central Election Commission (CEC) is expected to complete the counting of all ballots from the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo today.

During the day, the remaining 8 ballot boxes are expected to be counted, which include postal votes from outside Kosovo, as well as conditional votes and votes from persons with special needs.

The announcement was made by CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi in a written response to KosovaPress.

“During today, specifically on the 10th day after election day, the CEC will complete post-election activities, which it carries out in order to reach the final election results. At the Counting and Results Center, the remaining ballots from out-of-country voting will be counted, as well as conditional votes and votes from persons with special needs.”

Meanwhile, the CEC updated data on Wednesday morning from the counting process at the CRC. According to these data, out of 223 ballot boxes containing postal votes, 215 have been counted and 8 more will be processed during the day.

At the same time, the CEC has begun counting conditional ballots, which were cast in 52 conditional polling stations, where 8,751 voters were registered. The counting of ballots from persons with special needs has also started, with 3,144 registered voters in this category.
