The Kosovo Security Force has taken an important step towards deepening cooperation in the fields of security and technology with the United States of America.
During an official ceremony held today in Pristina, KSF Commander Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari and Director of J6 at the U.S. European Command (EUCOM), Major General John Phillips, signed the Communications and Interoperability Security Memorandum of Agreement (CISMOA).
With this act, Kosovo becomes the 33rd global partner to sign the CISMOA, as announced by the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, which emphasized that this agreement "enhances secure communications and interoperability" between the forces of both countries. In an official post, the Embassy highlighted:
"A significant step forward to make both our nations stronger and safer. Congratulations to KSF!"The CISMOA agreement is expected to further strengthen Kosovo's defense capabilities and bring the country closer to advanced international defense cooperation standards.
