Human remains found in Marina, Skenderaj, may date back to the last war
Skeletal remains believed to be human were found on Thursday in Marina, Skenderaj.
The discovery followed excavations carried out at the site by the unit for investigating persons missing during the war, in cooperation with the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
Police said the skeletal remains were taken by the Institute of Forensic Medicine for examination and sent for autopsy.
On the same day, a person was found dead in Skenderaj under unclear circumstances.
Police said the Kosovar male victim was found without signs of life. Relevant law enforcement units and a medical team responded to the scene, where the victim’s death was confirmed.
