One person has died, while five others were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday in the municipality of Vushtrri.
According to the Kosovo Police, the accident occurred at around 5:00 am on the Mitrovica–Prishtina national road, in the section passing through the village of Studime, involving two vehicles.
As a result of the injuries sustained, a woman aged around 52 died at the scene, while five other people suffered bodily injuries and were taken for medical treatment.By order of the prosecutor, the victim’s body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IFM) for an autopsy.
The Kosovo Police said that investigators from the Regional Traffic Police Unit, in coordination with the prosecutor handling the case, are conducting an investigation to determine the full causes and circumstances of the accident.
