The Ambassador of France to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, visited the independent news agency KosovaPress on Wednesday.

He was welcomed by the agency’s leadership, Suzana Hashani, Merita Gashi, and Gazmend Syla, who also showed him the new premises where the agency moved a few months ago. These include studios where the agency has begun producing interviews for a broad clientele from Kosovo’s and international media, as well as a large conference hall.

The diplomat said he was pleased with the modern facilities and the good conditions in which KosovaPress journalists and staff work.

The agency’s leaders also informed the ambassador about the media outlet’s future plans, while both sides confirmed their willingness to cooperate in areas of mutual interest.

With this visit, Guerot joined a long list of guests from the diplomatic corps—and beyond—who have visited the new offices and staff of the country’s oldest and largest news agency.
