The counting of the last part of the ballots from postal voting outside Kosovo has been completed at the Count and Results Center, announced the spokesperson of the Central Election Commission, Valmir Elezi.

“The counting of these ballots marks the completion of the process of counting all ballots from the early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, held on December 28, 2025,” Elezi told KosovaPress.

According to him, the CEC is ready to announce the final results, but it must first be determined whether any complaints will be filed with the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP).

“With the completion of the counting of these ballots, the CEC is ready to announce the final results of the early elections held on December 28. However, under the Law on General Elections, parties may submit complaints to the ECAP regarding the administration of the counting process at the CRC within 48 hours from the occurrence of the alleged violation,” Elezi said. In the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, the Vetëvendosje Movement won 51.11 percent of the vote and will hold 57 seats in the Assembly of Kosovo, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) won 20.19 percent and will hold 22 seats, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) won 13.23 percent (15 seats), and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) won 5.5 percent (6 seats). Meanwhile, minority parties will hold 20 seats in the Assembly of Kosovo.
