Citizens from South Mitrovica have positively evaluated the electoral process, emphasizing that voting is proceeding smoothly, orderly, and without major administrative issues.
Abbe Rushiti told KosovaPress that everything has gone according to the rules and expressed hope that these elections would bring improvements to citizens’ lives.
“Everything was in order. A better Kosovo, I believe it can be even better. These are the elections we have been waiting for,” he said.Ejup Rushiti also praised the overall conduct of the electoral process.
“The process has gone very well, it is proceeding smoothly, and I hope it continues this way throughout Kosovo. We voted, everything was in order. We expect the best,” he said. Adnan Ademi stated that there were no issues during voting and expressed hope for positive change.“Very good, absolutely nothing, everything is in order. We expect change, better than it has been. God willing, the one who deserves it will win and move the state forward,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sami Zeka noted that the process has been calm, although the large number of candidates requires more time and energy. He said he expects these elections to further strengthen the state.
“Overall, good, I didn’t see anything problematic administratively. I expect a stronger consolidation of Kosovo, in terms of sovereignty, legality, international representation, and relations with partners. I believe citizens’ trust in institutions will increase, and this is the ultimate goal of these elections,” Zeka stated. The voting process continues smoothly, with citizens exercising their democratic right without obstacles.Today, the voting process is being conducted across the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo for the extraordinary parliamentary elections of 28 December, announced by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, following the lack of a political agreement to form institutions after the elections held on 9 February 2025.
