It is considered necessary to postpone the deadline for applying for the status of victims of sexual violence
A large number of victims of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo have not yet addressed the government commission to request their legal status. Therefore, it is estimated that the deadline for application to this commission, which legally ends in February 2023, should be postponed in order to provide a longer opportunity for the victims to apply for their status. The need for this was emphasized at the Mobilization of the Local Community Conference for the empowerment of survivors of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo.
