KFOR gets a new deputy commander

In the KFOR camp in Pristina, the change of command of the deputy commander of KFOR took place today. During this ceremony, the current deputy commander, the Italian general, Luca Piperni, handed over the task to the Hungarian general, Jozsef Szpisnjak.

The commander of KFOR in Kosovo, Angelo Michele Ristuccia, has praised the former deputy commander of KFOR for the good work he has done during his mission.

Ristuccia said that despite the fact that it has been a challenging year, under the leadership of the Italian general, Luca Piperni, steps and progress have been made that have helped to fulfill KFOR's mandate in Kosovo.
