The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has stated that this week a solution must be found for the license plates issue, before the decision of the Government of Kosovo to fine those who drive cars with illegal license plates comes into effect. Experts of the dialogue process consider that in addition to such statements, Borrell should offer solutions to get out of the current crisis.

Arbër Fetahu from the Group for Legal and Political Studies told KosovaPress that Borrell should offer modalities that do not affect Kosovo's statehood.

According to him, a postponement of the deadline should only be done with a clear strategy of what follows such a decision...
