While the Albanian Parliament continues its sessions in chaos and deputies immediately proceeded with the voting on several draft laws, it has been reported that the media transmission line was damaged and caught fire.

According to on-site reports, the Parliament’s transmission fiber was burned, and the signal that allows the broadcasting of parliamentary sessions was destroyed.

At this time, it is not clear what caused the damage.

The head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, wrote on Facebook: “By the order of Sali Berisha, the Albanian Parliament building has been set on fire. This is a serious criminal act occurring in flagrante,” Balla wrote.
