The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, described his meeting with his Albanian counterpart, Elisa Spiropali, as fraternal.
At a press conference, Konjufca said they expect further deepening of political and economic cooperation as well as joint diplomacy.
“Fraternal meetings that share a common historical destiny. Further deepening of political and economic cooperation in joint diplomacy,” he said.
On her part, Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, said that Kosovo is a priority in Albania’s foreign policy.
She added that Albania will also intensify lobbying for new recognitions of Kosovo.
“Kosovo is not a matter of protocol, but of history. The relationship between Albania and Kosovo is a continuation of a shared journey. Kosovo is a priority of Albania’s foreign policy,” she said.
