PDK seeks a political agreement for their nominee to become president, says party leader Bedri Hamza, KosovaPress reports.
As the constitutional deadline for electing the president approaches, Hamza did not say whether PDK deputies will remain in the chamber during the vote if no political agreement is reached.
“We have made our offer. A political agreement meaning that the candidate proposed by PDK should become president,” he said.
So far, the only official candidate for president is Glauk Konjufca, nominated by Lëvizja Vetëvendosje.
Hamza said PDK deputies will make decisions depending on developments that may occur today.
“What will happen, I cannot predict; maybe the ruling coalition has two candidates… Decisions will be made depending on the developments that occur,” he said.
