Political figures, actors, and public personalities today paid tribute by the coffin of the well-known actor Enver Petrovci at the National Theatre of Kosovo.
Also present were the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, and the mayor of the capital, Përparim Rama.
Abdixhiku honored Petrovci’s life and contribution, emphasizing that he was an icon of Kosovar art and theatre, as well as an extraordinary professional who will always be remembered.
“He was a true icon of the art, theatre, and culture of Kosovo. He was among the first of the artists, lecturers, and individuals who left a mark on time. He will always be remembered as an extraordinary professional. Today we extended our condolences to the family, the community, and the artistic voice — he will always be remembered,” said Abdixhiku.
The mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, also expressed his condolences to the Petrovci family and the artistic community.
Rama said that Petrovci had always been an inspiration for younger generations, especially those within the art and cultural community.
“Today we paid tribute to the great master of screen and theatre, Enver Petrovci, who has always been an inspiration for younger generations, for all members of the art and culture community, an unparalleled talent, someone we will remember as a person who left indelible values in our society. Condolences to the whole community, the capital, and all of Kosovo,” said Rama.
At the age of 71, the icon of theatre and film, Enver Petrovci, passed away.
Also present were the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Dimal Basha, and Deputy Speaker Albulena Haxhiu, who did not speak to the media.
