Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) deputy Lutfi Haziri, has reacted with a public message at a time when internal divisions within the party have intensified and signatures have been submitted to hold an extraordinary Assembly, where the dismissal of leader Lumir Abdixhiku is also being requested.
In a social media post, Haziri said that LDK is a party of idealists and that its strength lies in its membership, not in its officials.
“LDK belongs to the idealists. The idealists are the membership! In Kosovo, history has taught us that LDK is a party of idealists, PDK is a party of rebels, and VV is a party of the dissatisfied. LDK belongs to its idealists, and its idealists are the membership. Not the officials. It is time to return to the idealists!” Haziri wrote.
