A meeting is being held within the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), one day after the submission of signatures requesting the convening of an extraordinary assembly.
LDK Presidency member Shkëmb Manaj said that they consider the convening of the assembly urgent due to the formation of institutions.
“It is a matter of decision, now until the signatures are verified. It is only an internal meeting. (Is it urgent due to the formation of institutions?) Yes,” Manaj said, KosovaPress reports.
Following yesterday’s submission of signatures, LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku said that negotiations with the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) on the formation of institutions have been suspended.
