The President of the Kosovo Olympic Committee, Ismet Krasniqi, and Secretary General Besim Aliti held a meeting with the CEO of Prishtina International Airport “Adem Jashari,” Gökhan Açikgöz, to discuss cooperation as part of preparations for the organization of the Prishtina 2030 Mediterranean Games.
According to a statement from the Kosovo Olympic Committee, the meeting highlighted the importance of coordination between the KOC, the Mediterranean Games Organizing Committee and Prishtina Airport, with the aim of ensuring the best possible conditions for athletes, delegations and international visitors during their stay in Kosovo.
The parties discussed opportunities to facilitate the participation of those attending the Mediterranean Games, as well as the logistical organization of the expected influx of guests arriving in Kosovo for the major sporting event.
The KOC and Prishtina International Airport expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation, emphasizing that inter-institutional coordination will be one of the key factors for a successful organization and for providing the international sports community with the best possible welcome at Prishtina 2030.
