1,500 kilometers on foot in 15 days: Boxer from Llap writes history in Prishtina

The heroic journey of 1,500 kilometers on foot by professional boxer from Llap, Miridon Mulolli, who started 15 days ago from the city of Suhl in Germany, has officially concluded today at “Mother Teresa” Square in Prishtina.

Among the citizens and family members who had come out to welcome Mulolli, the KosovaPress team was also present, conducting interviews with the boxer and his father in the first moments of arrival, highlighting the success and sacrifice of this sporting journey.

Boxer Miridon Mulolli explained in detail the journey over these two difficult weeks, describing the moments when his body began to feel exhausted, as well as the indescribable emotions when he set foot on the soil of Kosovo:

“This run started from Suhl in Germany. I passed through the Czech Republic, from the Czech Republic to Austria, then from Austria we went to Hungary, and from there I crossed into the state of Serbia, and now we are in Kosovo. The stage where I was very exhausted was when I passed the first 300 km; that’s when my body started getting tired, and especially at the final moments while I was on my way to the square. I am very happy, I feel very proud, there are no words to describe it.”

Present at this emotional and grand reception was also the boxer’s father, Ilmi Mulolli. He shared his mixed parental emotions with KosovaPress and the moment when his son first told him about his big idea of walking from Germany back home:

“I am very pleased, I have many emotions, I don’t know how to express how well I feel. I didn’t oppose him at all, I neither said yes nor no; he told me: ‘Dad, I want to come on foot.’ It seemed like a joke at first, I said okay my son, you know best. I know he really wanted to come.”

This journey was also an extraordinary physical test for the boxer from Llap. Miridon has an extremely important fight coming up in a little over two months. This march also served as a fantastic way to promote his upcoming bout for the German Championship title, which will take place on August 29, 2026, in the city of Suhl.
