On the fourth day after election day, Kosovo’s Central Election Commission (CEC) in 35 Municipal Counting Centers has completed the counting of votes for parliamentary candidates and the verification of results for political entities from forms filled out at polling stations.
In a written response to KosovaPress, CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi said that according to the latest data, the counting and verification process has been completed in 35 Municipal Counting Centers.
“Until now (Thursday, June 11, 2026, 16:00), the verification and counting process has been completed in 35 Municipal Counting Centers, while the total number of processed polling stations across all MCCs (38) is 2,271 out of 2,498 polling stations, or 90.91 percent,” Elezi said.
According to him, the number of remaining polling stations to be counted is 227, belonging to three municipalities: Gjilan with 33 polling stations, Prizren with 65, and Prishtina with 129.
