Today ends the deadline for voter registration outside Kosovo
Today is the deadline for applying for registration for voting outside Kosovo for the local elections of October 17. All citizens of Kosovo with the right to vote living outside the Republic of Kosovo can apply only today for registration to vote by mail. Also, those who do not have the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, but who have the right to be citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, according to the Law on Citizenship, can apply.
As of Tuesday, the Central Election Commission has received 9,600 applications for registration as voters abroad. All applicants who meet the legal criteria to register as a voter abroad can vote during the postal voting period which begins on 15 September and ends on 15 October 2021.
