The campaign for the February 14 parliamentary elections officially begins today
The campaign for the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo officially starts today and for ten days in a row the political entities will hold electoral rallies with the citizens to gain their trust in the February 14 race. The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) was the first party to launch the campaign immediately after the start of the official term last night at midnight, through a video, in which the candidate for Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti revealed his commitments and priorities in the governing mandate. Today, from 17:00, this party will open the campaign in Podujeva, a municipality which it lost in last year's mayoral race, for the first time after 20 years in power.
Vetevendosje’s candidate for prime minister in the February 14 race will be Albin Kurti, who during the unveiling of the governing program said that he is the holder of the list, despite the fact that the CEC left him out, thus implementing the Constitutional Judgment that says that persons convicted of various criminal offenses in the last three years cannot participate in the election race.
