The Acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, expressed concern regarding the four deaths related to gunfire that occurred in the last three days.
Kurti, before the government cabinet, called for immediate institutional action and societal reflection, emphasizing that law enforcement agencies must treat these cases with seriousness and ensure justice for the victims.
"I want to share the same concern and worry with all of you present and our fellow citizens regarding the four killings registered in the last three days. I urge law enforcement, investigation, and justice authorities to treat with the utmost seriousness the causes, circumstances, and the predispositions of the perpetrators, so that justice can be served and such cases prevented in the future. The entire country has been shocked and hurt by this series of murders, which must be stopped, condemned, and punished. We need careful professional analysis, immediate institutional action, and societal reflection to address the violence we have witnessed in the last few days. This is a call for all of us," Kurti said.
