May 3 is the World Press Freedom Day since 1993 announced by the United Nations General Assembly.

On this occasion, the Association of Journalists of Kosovo, together with the Council of Written Media of Kosovo and the Independent Media Commission, will hold a discussion on the challenges of maintaining professional standards and the code of ethics during reporting, starting at 11:00.

The discussion will be held in the Lapidarium of the National Museum, where the exhibition of cartoons about Media Freedom of the Dutch Embassy in Kosovo is currently open.

In the annual report of the World Organization "Reporters Without Borders" for the year 2023, Kosovo rose five places (56) compared to 2022, when it was ranked 61. /KosovaPress/
