The Ministry of Labour, Family and War Veterans’ Affairs, in cooperation with the Central Labour Inspectorate, has launched an inspection campaign across the entire territory of Kosovo, KosovaPress reports.

The campaign will be carried out in three regions: Pristina, Fushë Kosovë and Ferizaj, and is being implemented in line with the minister’s decision, with the aim of increasing workplace safety and health standards, focusing in particular on high-risk sectors such as construction and similar activities.

The initiative is intended to raise the level of occupational safety and health, with special emphasis on high-risk sectors such as construction and related activities.

The decision to carry out workplace inspections was taken a few days ago by the Minister of Labour, Family and War Veterans’ Affairs, Andin Hoti, following recent cases of workers dying at their workplaces.
