The Municipality of Prishtina is expected to announce the winner of the project for the statue of legendary commander Adem Jashari in Prishtina today.

This was stated by the Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, when asked by Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary candidate Visar Xani.

Previously, Rama met Bekim Jashari, a member of the Jashari family from Prekaz, on April 26, 2024, during which they discussed the selection of the location for the placement of the statue of the national hero Adem Jashari.

He also announced that on March 14, 2024, the municipality opened a competition for the creation of the Monumental Square dedicated to Commander Adem Jashari.
