Superheroes from animated films have brought joy to children at the Pediatrics Clinic. Climbers dressed as children’s favorite characters descended from the Pediatric building and then continued by distributing gifts.
This is the sixth year that the “Alpin Prishtina” Club has organized this activity, making it a tradition.
“This is the sixth year we have organized ‘Superheroes in Pediatrics’. This year we made it even more magnificent thanks to our supporters, including the minister, the director, and the Economic Bank. This year we also have a surprise from the ‘Mitrush Kuteli’ school in Matiqan. It is the sixth year and it has become a traditional event. The main goal is to make children as happy as possible. In addition, we also raised quite a lot of funds this year; we tried through Vala, through their SMS sending network. We have many supporters, many sponsors, as well as all the volunteers. Above all, I would like to thank the medical staff,” said Gashi.
The acting Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, also joined the activity and said that they are there to wish the children good health and a happy end of the year.Nermine Mahmuti from the Community Development Fund said that the greatest heroes are the children who face problems and fight through them.
“For me, the greatest heroes are these children who face problems and fight. I also thank the medical staff who stay by their side and are fantastic. As a community development fund, we support this activity and will continue to do so in the coming years within the framework of human rights projects and support to prevent mental health problems,” she said.
A doctor at the Pediatrics Clinic, Arbana Baloku-Zenjullahu, added that children in the hospital do not come only to be treated, but also to experience good things and gain courage.
In addition to the Pediatrics Clinic, the superheroes were also welcomed by other children who had gathered outside the building, and gifts were distributed to them as well.
