Walker testifies at the Basic Court

Former OSCE Ambassador to Kosovo, William Walker, appeared before the Basic Court in Pristina today.

The news was confirmed to KosovaPress by the spokesperson of the Basic Court in Pristina, Mirlinda Gashi, who said that Walker's testimony comes after the request of the Special Prosecution Office for a special investigative opportunity to take his statement.

"We inform you that following the request of the Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo for a special investigative opportunity to take the statement of witness W.W, the Basic Court in Pristina - Special Department is holding a session for a special investigative opportunity to take the statement of witness W.W, which is related to war crimes. The case is closed to the public," says Gashi in a written response to KosovaPress.
