European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday that the situation in northern Kosovo is worrying and that both sides, Kosovo and Serbia, should reduce tensions and return to dialogue. While she said that she also welcomes the "Open Balkan", as a comprehensive initiative. In a joint conference with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, Von der Leyen said that the European Union has worked in the field of cooperation and has had achievements, but added that the situation in northern Kosovo is worrying after the establishment of reciprocity on license plates with Serbia.
