Until 15:00, 120 people with symptoms of poisoning were treated at the MFMC in Deçan
Only until 15:00 on Wednesday at the Main Family Medicine Center in Deçan, 120 people have sought medical treatment on suspicion of being poisoned by the drinking water. The director of this center, Selmon Berisha, at a joint conference with Mayor of Deçan, Bashkim Ramosaj, said that from Saturday until now, the total number of patients is 1,182.
Although the analysis of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) shows that the water did not lead to mass poisoning of these people, the mayor of Deçan said that he will insist on finding the cause of this situation, emphasizing that he will not allow the same thing to happen, as it happened in June.
