Unbilled water in the country over 50 percent, commercial losses reach 20 million euros per year
The high level of unbilled water in the country and the low implementation of investments in the water sector remain challenging.
During the reporting to the Economy
Committee, managers of the Water Regulatory Authority (WRA), said that the
annual commercial losses in the water system are around 20 million euros per
year.
The director of this Authority, Hajrije
Morina, emphasized that despite the fact that this year the level of unbilled
water has dropped by 2 percent, she said that the level of unbilled water still
remains high at 53 percent.
