Snap elections in Kosovo may take place in the second part of spring, says political analyst, Fidan Ukaj. According to him, after the warnings of the Prime Minister, Albin Kurti that he is ready for the dissolution of the Assembly, it remains for the opposition to initiate a request to the Presidency of the Assembly for the calling of an extraordinary session with the only point, the dissolution of the legislature.

Ukaj says for KosovaPress, that this change in Kurti's political position for early elections is due to international pressure for the formation of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.

Since the opposition does not have the numbers to dismiss the Kurti government, Ukaj says that the solution remains the resignation or dissolution of the Assembly, which must be achieved with two-thirds of the MPs' votes.

Speaking about the dialogue with Serbia, Ukaj criticizes the mediator of the dialogue, the representative of the EU, Miroslav Lajcak.

According to him, the same has blocked the dialogue process, due to the wrong plan of sequencing the basic agreement and setting the conditions for Kosovo.

As for Serbia's threats to Kosovo, he says that they are serious and should be viewed with concern by institutions and the international factor.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti, yesterday in an interview in the public medium, said that the majority in the Assembly is ready if there is a request from the opposition parties for the dissolution of the Assembly.
