Two Kosovo citizens among repatriates from Syria

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, said that two Kosovo citizens are among the repatriates from the conflict zones in Syria. It was the Albanian Ministry of Internal Affairs that announced the return of 13 Albanians through Prishtina Airport, as institutions in Kosovo refused to respond to journalists' interest in the matter.

"As the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Albania, today we returned two of our citizens from the conflict zones in Syria. This is a continuation of the commitment of the Government of Kosovo for the return and reintegration of our citizens, which has started since 2019 ", wrote Sveçla on Facebook. The Minister of Internal Affairs said that he is happy that Kosovo is a global leader in the fight against terrorism, thus fulfilling with high responsibility our obligations as a member of the Global Coalition against ISIS...
