Trepca dismisses a miner

The public enterprise Trepca has dismissed an employee for reasons stated in the announcement, namely that he has caused financial damage to the company of over 27 thousand euros.

According to Trepca's announcement, today the Disciplinary Commission held a public hearing regarding the case of Sh.S., and after this hearing, this commission has confirmed that the latter has committed a serious violation of work duties.

“On 24.02.2025, the Disciplinary Commission held a public hearing regarding the case of Sh.S. After holding the public hearing, the Disciplinary Commission has confirmed that Sh.S has committed a serious violation of work duties under Article 10 paragraph 1, subparagraphs 1.1, 1.5, 1.13 and 1.52 of Regulation no. prot: 2906 dated. 30.07.2020 on the disciplinary and material liability of the employees of Trepça Sh.A., because the above mentioned employee has caused financial damage to the Trepça Sh.A. Enterprise, over 27,472.00 euros, and that he has been a recidivist of serious violations of work duties and in several other cases, all this based on report 983 from the relevant commissions”, the company's announcement states.

According to Trepca, the Disciplinary Commission has issued a decision and imposed the disciplinary measure of termination of employment for Sh.S.

In recent months, this company has dismissed several miners from work.
