Tragedy at “Kosova B”: 55-year-old employee loses his life
An employee lost his life today as a result of a serious incident that occurred at the “Kosova B” Thermal Power Plant in Obiliq.
According to the official statement from the Kosovo Energy Corporation, the incident took place on 27 February 2026 and involved a transport vehicle (truck) and an employee.
As a result of the incident, a 55-year-old male Kosovar employee suffered severe injuries. KEK officials, the Kosovo Police, and medical teams immediately arrived at the scene and confirmed that the victim had passed away.
KEK J.S.C. expressed its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, his colleagues, and associates, emphasizing that the relevant authorities are handling the case in accordance with legal procedures.
